About the project

Designing the brand and digital world of Maison 1824 was not merely a visual exercise — it was a conceptual and emotional undertaking. A rare challenge that pulled us outside our usual comfort zone, into a world that demanded both humility and precision. The goal: to create something timeless, extravagant in subtlety, and rooted in history — yet unmistakably future-forward.

Building on the architectural vision of “bringing something precious from history to the future,” we translated this ethos into a complete brand experience. The identity system draws inspiration from the structure itself — monumental doors, classical symmetry, hand-carved facades — distilled into minimal linework and elegant outlines. These architectural motifs now live as part of the Maison 1824 brand language: from logo design to visual compositions, printed matter to digital assets.

The solution

Strategically, we positioned the brand to sit between worlds — informed by the legacy of the Niort region and the understated grandeur of Parisian fashion houses, while infused with Amud’s signature of bold, clean futurism. The message architecture, tone of voice, and digital presence were all designed to extend the spatial narrative into a lifestyle brand — quiet, poetic, elevated.

We designed a deconstructed digital art gallery in the basement of our monument project, Maison 1824. Its a fusion experience of the past meeting the future. Interactive screens, custom designed walls and built in appliances for different scenarios while maintaining the air of the year 1824.

The process was deeply personal and design-led, merging heritage with vision. Maison 1824 now exists as a refined, living system of identity — made to last, made to evolve.
